Otahuhu shot out the gates and posted tries at will to lead the visiting club. With improved defence and team work on attack 'Pt-Rich' was able to show great potential and commitment for each other. Pt-Rich made a comeback in the second half to outscore the Leopards. Although the first half was not what the team had wanted, it gave the coaching team the ability to see its players in action and what they needed to work on during the week and season ahead. Final score: 46-26 to Otahuhu over Pt-Rich.
Unfortunately the second week of the Under 20s season Pt-Rich won by default against Northcote.
The team have made great use of the bye week training hard, building friendships, building combinations and working to structure. This Saturday Pt-Rich play the Marist Saints at Murray Halberg Park, in Mt Albert. Kick off is at 12.45pm so if you are free and keen to watch some young talent come on down and support the team. GO PT-Rich!!!
