Our Richmond Athletics club completed their 3rd season on Monday 15th April 2019. This was another successful season that saw up to 36 children participating in a range of athletic sports and games that were designed to build children’s athletic skills and abilities in a fun and interesting way.
Monday saw a seven week season draw to a close with a few races, games and a shared BBQ.
Richmond Board member Gerhard Sundborn has facilitated this club over the last three seasons and would like to specifically thank fellow board member Carol Redman and volunteers Wayne McDonald and Levi McDonald for their support of this Richmond club over the past three years.
Special acknowledgement and thanks goes to Mr John Hynds who sponsored this initiative from the start and has provided equipment, signage and t-shirts for each Richmond Athletics club kid.
The next season will kick off mid-February 2020. We look forward to seeing you all back again next year!
