Difficult for coaches to pick 3 players for P.O.D. as was very much a team effort on defence especially. Many players stood up today which is exciting signs for the season ahead and future of the Richmond Roses.
Congratulations to Players of the Day: Kahurina Cassidy (3 points) at prop for her relentless work on defence and effective multiple hit ups; Kaiyah Atai (2 points) at second row for her defensive work on the edge and also consistent effort on attack creating speedy opportunities both for herself and others; and Laura Mariu (1 point) at prop for her inspirational work for the team in both defence and attack.
