The Richmond Rovers Rugby League & Sports Club is an Auckland Rugby League club based in the inner Auckland city suburb of Grey Lynn. Richmond is a family orientated club administered by dedicated volunteers and enjoyed by its community and greater Auckland community. The Richmond club has over 400 junior grade players, over 300 senior grade players and over 200 social club members.
Richmond is a rich in tradition rugby league club that had reached a milestone in 2013 when it celebrated its 100 Centennial year. Since its humble beginnings the Richmond Rovers Club has been and become home to many families from the greater Auckland community. Grey Lynn park is home to many of its club members, guests and is widely respected for its reputation, respect both on and off the playing field and its community involvement.

RICHMOND ATHLETIC CLUB TONIGHT FOR KIDS
At Grey Lynn Park from 3.30pm. Ages 3 to 12.
The Richmond Athletics club is on tonight after being rained out last week. For ages 3 to 12 we are prototyping how to create the best athletic experience for children throughout March.
Designed for fun and fundamental movement skills, come down bring your kids and help us out. Let us know how we can make things more enjoyable for the kids. It is all about community!
Richmond Grey Lynn Homework Center is back
Our Richmond Grey Lynn Homework Center is back for another year! FREE to ALL Richmond Rovers RLFC Juniors and youth members. The homework center is a safe and warm place to wait after school before your team starts training's (inside the club). Start's up next Tuesday 7 March, and will run throughout the season every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5pm. Healthy snack provided. Adult supervision and assistance with homework, academic goal setting, mentoring etc. If your child attends school in the local central area and comes to wait at the park for training encourage your child to attend where you know they will be with other students, club members and meeting school duties assignments, homework and learning from other peers.
We were very fortunate to have Auckland University Law School Mentor assist last year plus some other university students as well. Thank you to Harry Toleafoa! If there is any adults, parents keen to help out (all voluntary) you are very welcome. Please let us know by messaging us or popping in.
Richmond Rovers welcome Steve Buckingham
The Richmond Rovers League Club would like to formally welcome Steve Buckingham to the Richmond Rovers RLFC family as he has accepted the head coach role of the Richmond Rovers Premiers. Steve brings with him a vast amount of experience in the Fox Memorial competition both as a player and as a coach. Steve has had great success in the Fox winning Auckland Rugby League's top prize as a player and in 2012 he tasted success as head coach of the Mount Albert Lions. Steve was also head coach of the Akarana Falcons Rugby League Senior team from 2012 - 2015 in the National competition. We look forward to the fresh approach Steve will bring to the club and wish him all the very best
Gus a Richmond boy through the ages
He starred for Richmond through the bright days of league in central Auckland, and now Gus ‘Toa’ Fepuleai is charged with leading one of New Zealand’s oldest clubs through a period of huge change in the area.
The 1970’s – when Fepuleai came onto the scene as a talented winger – saw Richmond and Ponsonby claim three Fox Memorial Premierships between them, as they lifted the Auckland CBD to become the pride of local league during parts of. Read More
