About the Richmond Roses (Women)

Grey Lynn Park is the home base of the Richmond Roses Women's Rugby League Team. A women's rugby league team developed from the early 1990s who have continued to pioneer women's rugby league throughout Auckland and New Zealand.

The coaching and management team are volunteers who have dedicated their time and experience to develop and strengthen women participation in the seniors but also in 2019 which saw the rise of the Richmond Rosebuds Junior girls grades from Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s.

Many developing Roses players, coaches, and managers are given opportunities to continue on varying pathways provided by Auckland Rugby League & NZ Rugby League.
