RICHMOND FOUNDATION CLUB
‘Supporting the day to day running and future of our club’
The Richmond Rovers Foundation Club is a fundraising initiative to support Richmond Rovers Rugby League and Sports Club Inc. Monies raised will be tagged strictly to be spent on the mundane costs associated with being able to run this club from week to week, year to year. As sourced from Richmond’s 2021 Audited Accounts, last year the general operating expenses came to $25,178: Audit and accounting 3050 Electricity 3953 Licences/Fees and Levies 2316 Insurance 2083 ARL fees and levies 232 Repairs and maintenance 1982 Telephone 766 Ground Rental- Council 500 Water Rates 4771 Cleaning 2443 Miscellaneous 3082 Richmond received approximately $7,300 annually from Auckland Rugby League's Club in the Hub, leaving a shortfall of $17,878. Up until now Richmond RRL have sourced this shortfall primarily from gaming trust grant applications, however, these funds are becoming increasingly difficult to secure, placing our club in a vulnerable financial position. We have had to look at alternative ways to ascertain more funds, The Richmond Rovers Foundation Club The concept for this initiative came from Richmond stalwart Peter Ah Kuoi many years ago. Since then he and a select few of our members have consistently supported Richmond with their $5 weekly or $20 monthly Automatic Payments. Their unwavering support over the years is our inspiration. At the start of 2021 season there were 46 Richmond supporters who had created Automatic Payments which brought in a total of $17,060 per year. Ideally we would like to grow this to amount to $26,000 per year to meet our annual operating costs. To achieve this, Richmond’s goal is to have 100 supporters to sign up to this initiative and start their Automatic Payments. Benefits you receive by becoming a Richmond Rovers Foundation Club member include:
Please contribute to Richmond’s financial longevity and stability. Please play your part in Richmond Rovers being here in another 100 years. Foundation Club Members
