Richmond Homework Centre
The Richmond club is very excited to announce that Auckland Rugby League (ARL) supports the Homework Centre initiative in Auckland Rugby League Clubs and we are now one of six clubs who will run a Homework Centre again this year.
It reflects ARL’s and Richmond’s strong commitment to our youth, Richmond Rovers having initiated and run our Homework Centre since 2016. Our Richmond Homework Centre is for our teenager players (13 years up) and will be held at our Club room on training days from 3.45pm until your team training begins. Students will be given a healthy snack and drink upon arrival and will be encouraged and supported to complete their school homework before their training starts. The Richmond Rovers Homework Centre (HWC) is back for 2025 with the goal of better supporting Richmond youth and promoting on and off-field achievement. About HWC provides a safe, warm environment where young players can complete homework or study while enjoying healthy kai. The Richmond Junior Committee is dedicated to taking a proactive approach to youth success. “It’s one thing to help young people become better rugby league players, but we also want to equip them for life beyond the game.” - Rose Iefata Information FREE for all Richmond youth members aged 13 and older Starts: Wednesday, 12th February 2025 Hours: 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Thursday, throughout the rugby league season).
