On behalf of our Richmond Rovers Rugby League & Sports Club Inc. board I would like to say a big thank you to Graeme Atmore & Liz Ah Kuoi as well as all volunteers involved with the organizing such a brilliant end of year senior prize-giving awards night for our beloved Richmond Club.
On Saturday 23 September we had a fantastic evening celebrating our 2017 season club, team and individual achievements. A big thank you to our loyal and valued sponsors, special guests on the night, Henry Solomona for a brilliant job as event MC and Ojay Guttenbeil for the awesome sounds on the night. A special thanks also to Anna Lundon and her assistant with the helping hand on the night.
From the amazing Ellerslie Race course venue to the delicious food, it was certainly a first class event as club legend and former Kiwi/Captain Fred Ah Kuoi indicated to all attendees with his final speech. It was certainly a memorable-finish to another great 2017 year for our growing club. Finally, you must all agree in joining me in saluting the efforts and dedication of Liz Ah Kuoi Atmore in not only sorting and organizing the trophies but making sure the event ran as smoothly as possible.
Thank you to all our team coaches, management and support team, friends and family and most important our members for a great finish to the 2017 season. I look forward to the break and seeing you all again at Grey Lynn Park in 2018.
