Richmond Rovers Rugby League & Sports Club Building update – January Flood damage
Due to the January 2023 floods our beloved clubroom has suffered serious damage to its interior. For Health and Safety reasons the Richmond Board of Directors have opted to enforce its temporary closure.
To provide you all with an update, our insurance claims have been submitted and we are now awaiting approval.
Approval of all claims is expected within the next two weeks where we can then provide you with a more accurate timeline on when our doors will re-open.
Repairs will be done to all interior floors, walls and not to forget, the best rugby league tuckshop in Auckland!
We would like to once again take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thank you to all who helped with the working bee.
To our valued members, old and new, thank you for your patience while we work on getting matters sorted.
The Richmond Board of Directors will provide further updates once dates for repairs are confirmed.
Restoring our club is of the upmost priority and we are confident and excited that we will have a safe, warm and solid home before the end of our 2023 season.
