The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the Club has signed a two year contract with Bernie Perenara to the Head Coach position of our Premier side. Bernie shares our vision for Richmond as the club where all players know they will improve themselves by coming under the guidance of our Richmond coaches and trainers. Bernie’s coaching ability is recognised throughout league circles, and he has turned down an offer from a major Fox club to stay with Richmond. As Head Coach, Bernie will play a significant role in improving our players in 2015 and 2016. And so to this end, the Board is also delighted that Bernie has accepted the additional role of Coaching Development Officer specifically to coach and improve individually all our Richmond coaches from U13 grade upwards. We are looking forward to next year with great optimism, with the goal of winning all games in 2015 and jumping back into the Fox. Bernie’s appointment is the first step towards this.
