Finally, we have a NEW Changing Room Showers and Toilet Block! Today marks a very long process with our Richmond Board, City Council, Waitemata Local board, Auckland ARL and other parties involved in getting what Grey Lynn Park & our sports club desperately needed. The day was celebrated with an Opening Ceremony with local Ngāti Whātua Elders to bless the new facilities along with Local board members etc. The new fitout includes:
The grassed area outside the clubroom will be made into picnic spaces. Richmond will be handed the keys in the next week. We are so excited and thrilled to finally get some decent facilities for Grey Lynn Park & the wider Auckland community. Richmond Rovers Rugby League and Sports Club Inc. has a strong, vibrant place in Women’s Rugby League in Auckland with teams across all girls age groups and a proud winning tradition. Richmond invites applications for Head Coach and Trainer for our 2021 season for our Richmond Roses Premier team.
