Nomination of Board Members
7.1 Nominations for members of the Board shall be called for at least 14 days before an Annual General Meeting. Each candidate shall be proposed and seconded in writing by Members and the completed nomination shall be confirmed by the candidate and delivered to the Secretary, or a Returning Officer if one is appointed by the Chair (in which case all references to a Secretary in these Rules shall be deemed a reference to a Returning Officer for the purpose of this Rule 7 and 21.4(b)(ii) ).
Nominations shall close upon the start of the Annual General Meeting. If any Board position does not receive any nominations, nominations may be made by Members at the Annual General Meeting from the floor. All retiring members of the Board shall be eligible for re-election.
Please note only financial members can nominate and second a candidate.
